Nectresse is an all-natural, no-calorie sweetener marketed by McNeil Nutritionals, the manufacturers of Splenda. Designs I created for the Nectresse brand included email newsletters, microsites and landing pages, email newsletters and marketing on the brand’s social media channels, predominantly on Facebook.

The Nectresse was designed to house a library of recipes ranging from appetizers and drinks to quick meals, entrees and desserts. Seasonal landing pages were added throughout the year to feature special recipes as well as timely product coupons, and frequently showcased small articles by Nectresse users that promoted the product in a more organic manner.

Email Newsletter

Monthly newsletters contained special recipes, store coupons, and product information. While less in-depth than some of McNeil Nutritionals’ other product newsletters, the Nectresse email led consumers to the product website, with its full library of recipes created using the sugar alternative.

Social Media Marketing

Graphics created for social media were published throughout the week, and ranged in topic throughout the year. Facebook posts featured products and coupons, promoted seasonal foods and events, and also included consumer contests. Following the same brand messaging, each post engaged consumers and enticed them to learn more about the product, and discover where they could get theirs through the website.
