Microchip’s TrustSpan™ technology enables digital systems to securely communicate, process, move and store information on system boards, across networks and through the cloud. When Microchip (formerly SMSC) needed a logo design for their new product launch, I was tasked with creating their new identity. I took the concept of protection that the product gives, and created an image that represents a fusion of trust and technology. The colors used in the logo - blue and gray - symbolize the ability of the product to create a secure connection across multiple networks and the digital world.
